What is it with Qantas and their new luggage rules?
I used to travel with a couple of bags weighing around 10 - 12 kilos each. Now I’ve got to put it all into one bag. On a recent trip that bag (the biggest I could buy that suits the luggage dimensions) weighed in at 22.7 kg.
So how long will it be before the luggage handlers (and passengers) start complaining about all the heavier bags they have to handle - obviously it isn’t the ones making the rules who have to lug them around.
And as for Virgin and Jetstar charging extra for luggage - now the airplane corridors are clogged with passengers dragging in whatever they can get away with instead of just booking it through.
