A great sopurce of talent for events over the years has been the NSW Education Dept. Talent Develpment Program which was started by Mary Lopez twenty years ago.
The program launched the careers of many including Human Nature, Paulini, Angus and Julia Stone, musical theatre stars Lucy Maunder (Dr Zhivago), Amanda Harrison (Wicked) and Trevor Ashley (Hairspray), composer Gavin Lockley and country singers The McClymonts, Felicity Urquhart and Darren Coggan.
