My #canberra office was broken into on Wednesday and my desktop computer and backup drives were stolen. I’m hoping friends out in twitter land can keep an eye out for the equipment as it has 5 years worth of work stored on it. Definitly discovered that it is not much use keeping backups in the same room.
Also taken (I guess to carry the stuff) was a calico conference bag (like a oversholder shopping bag) branded 2008 Alice Springs MEA conference and with aboriginal designs. There would be very few of these bags in Canberra, so if you see anyone with one it is most probably not theirs.
Any information you may have please contact ACT Policing on 131 444
I would also appreciate anyone with a good Canberra network to pass this message on.
